Violet Umamoto “VI” Wada, 73, Kaneohe, a retired director’s secretary for the Department of Defense, passed away on October 7, 2014. She was born in Pa‘auhau,Hawai‘i. She is survived by husband Norman S., daughter Cheryl Ann, brother Charles Umamoto and sisters Jean Ichinotsubo and Helen Fujimura. Private services.
