Colonel Dave Molinaro has relocated Washington D.C. to pursue new job opportunities. He retired as the Director of Staff, Headquarters, Hawaii Air National Guard in December. Dave came to Hawaii 25 years ago, an active duty captain working at Headquarters, Pacific Air Forces. He was a member of the Inspector General Team that inspected the 154th Wing. Dave joined the Guard in the early 1990s. He served in maintenance for many years and later became the 154th Logistics Readiness Squadron commander. His last assignment was as the Director of Staff, Headquarters, Hawaii Air National Guard. Happy retirement to Dave and good luck job hunting!

Lieutenant Colonel Mark Ishiki transferred to the Air Force Reserve in December. His new assignment is with the United States Pacific Command. His new military assignment at the United States Pacific Command ties into his civilian position at Booz Allen Hamilton. Like many, he enlisted in the Hawaii Air National Guard, assigned to the 201st Combat Communications Group. Mark later received his commission and served with the 154th Wing and Headquarters, Hawaii Air National Guard. Happy Trails to Mark!

Major Ben Murata retired in December after a long career that began with his enlistment in the early 1980s. Ben served in the 201st Combat Communications Group before he received his commission. He later served in the 154th Wing and Headquarters, Hawaii Air National Guard. Ben continues in this civilian position with Booz Allen Hamilton. Happy Retirement to Ben!

 

 

IMG_1644 copy 2Congratulations to Lieutenant Colonel Cyrus Lung, who assumed command of the 154th Engineer Squadron during the January UTA weekend. Cyrus received his commission in the Hawaii Air National Guard in the 1990s, and took command of the 154th Security Forces Squadron. He served with the squadron for several years until he became a fulltime engineer with the 154 CES. Cy continues to do a super job!
