Retiree Updates
Karen Stender, a Hawai‘i Army National Guard retiree signed up with Retiree News a few weeks ago. She is back in Hawai‘i after many years in the Northwest. She said, “I’m still in awe with all the changes that have taken place… the rail, the high prices for homes etc.” Thanks for signing up for Retiree News!
Jerry Matsuda, a Hawai‘i Air National Guard retiree, who served as the Engineering Officer for the State Department of Defense. He continues to work for AECOM, an international integrated infrastructure and support services firm.
Jerry mentioned that his son, Lieutenant Colonel Reid Matsuda — also an engineering officer — just took command of the Air Reserve’s 624th Civil Engineer Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Jerry must be a proud father!
