Taps: Charles Yadao Oliva

Charles Yadao Oliva, 86, of Mililani, a federal government retiree, former bus driver at Leeward Bus Co. and a Hawaii Army National Guard veteran, passed on July 21, 2015. He was born in Koloa, Kauai.

He is survived by wife Madeline A.; sons Charles A., Gary W., David B. and Randal P.; daughter Bernadette Thompson; brothers John, James and George; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Aloha attire.
