Check Six: My Favorite Pictures of Honolulu’s Past

Bob Sigall, author of “The Companies We Keep” series of books, looks through his collection of old photos to tell stories of Hawaii people, places and companies. You can read his weekly Rearview Mirror column in the Honolulu Star Advertiser.

This video is his presentation to the Engineers and Architects luncheon on August 1, 2014. His segment starts about 04:50 into the video.  Interesting photographs include the original Iolani Palace, the National Guard armory, and the full Magic Island plan.

If you are a more mature person who grew up in Hawaii, you will have some flashbacks when you see these photographs.
