Check Six: Sandra Mascoto – 43 years ago
Not widely known, but Sandra Mascato served in the Hawaii Army National Guard. This 1975 photograph shows her at weapons qualification training at the Diamond Head crater firing range. (Yes, years ago there was a firing range in Diamond Head crater.)
But everyone knows Sandy Hashimoto as the retirement technician in the Human Resources Office (HRO). She counseled and helped technicians as they processed toward their retirement. Even after technicians retired, she was always there to answer your questions.
