September 8, 2019

F-16, F-15, F-22, C-17 and KC-135 aircraft make their initial take offs for combat exercise Sentry Aloha 19-2. The longstanding series of fighter exercises is hosted by the Hawaii Air National Guard’s 154th Wing, involving multiple types of aircraft and services.

Sentry Aloha provides tailored, cost effective and realistic combat training for U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard and other Department of Defense services to provide U.S. warfighters with the skill sets necessary to perform their homeland defense and overseas combat missions. This iteration of the exercise includes Airmen from 15 states and participants from the Royal Australian Air Force.
