Keep your DEERS Records Updated

It is very important to keep your DEERS records updated, especially when personal eligibility information changes. This includes changes in military status, addressees, and family status (marriage, divorce, births, adoptions, etc.). Mistakes in your DEERS record can cause problems with TRICARE claims and other entitlements. Contact your nearest military identification card issuing facility to update your DEERS record.

To locate your nearest military ID card facility, visit the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) website at: www.dmdc.osd.mil/rsl or contact the DMDC/DEERS Support Office (DSO) at 1-800-538-9552 for further assistance. Sponsor or family member who is on record may update their contact information on the internet at: www.dmdc.osd.mil/mmydodbenefits or by calling the DMDC/DEERS Support Office toll free at 1-800-538-9552.
