Taps: Jeffrey “Sumo” Namihara

Col Jeffrey “Sumo” Namihara passed away last night, apparently from a heart attack. He recently retired after a long Hawai‘i Air National Guard career. He was a pilot with the 199^th Fighter Squadron most of his career, but served as the 154^th Maintenance Group commander on his last assignment. A skilled fighter pilot and leader who always had a special smile. Aloha Pumehana!
