Taps: James Mitsuo Akamine

James Mitsuo Akamine, 77, of Waimānalo, a retired maintenance control superintendent and a veteran of the Hawai‘i Air National Guard, passed away on February 13, 2015. He was born in Honolulu.

He is survived by wife Barbara S., sons Bently A. and Grant M., daughters Alison S. Horie and Kelly Anne M. Brown, brother Vincent, sister Muriel Arakaki, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
