Honor Roll – 29th Infantry Brigade, Vietnam Conflict – 1968-1969
The 29th Infantry Brigade was called to active duty for the Vietnam War on May 13, 1968 through December 13, 1969. The 100th Battalion, United Sates Army Reserve; 227th Military Intelligence Detachment from the Arizona; and the 40th Aviation Company from California joined the Brigade at Schofield Barracks one week after the Brigade reported to Schofield. Twenty nine soldiers gave their lives in service of their country while on active duty during the mobilization.
