Kim Confirmed by State Senate

This morning, the Hawaii State Senate confirmed Joseph Kim as the Deputy Director of the Department of Taxation. Governor David Y. Ige nominated him to the position earlier in this year’s legislative session.

The Senate floor vote was: Ayes, 24; Aye(s) with reservations: none; Noes, none; Excused, 1 (Senator Galuteria). His Deputy Director’s term expires on December 3, 2018.

Militarily, Brigadier General Kim remains the Assistant Adjutant General, Air.
