James passed away early this morning at Islands Hospice in Palolo after suffering a horrible stroke a couple of weeks ago. He was 71. Memorial services over his ashes are pending, but will take place at Kamehameha Schools Chapel. He leaves behind 2 sons, Kimo and Toby Keanini, daughters in law, Michelle and Kylee, grandchildren, brothers and sisters and many, many friends….
James is Carol’s former spouse who also served in the Hawaii Air National Guard in the Avionics branch many years ago. Son Toby served in the engine shop before moving to the continent.
