Taps: Donald Howard “Buddy” Brandt
Donald Howard “Buddy” Brandt, 88, of Hilo, a retired Hilo Coast Processing Co. finance comptroller; employee at Wailuku Sugar Co., Olokele Sugar Co., Hilo Sugar Co. and Hawaii Electric Light Co.; and a Hawaii Army National Guard veteran, passed away December 18, 2015. He was born in Hilo.
He is survived by wife Barbara S., son Dean H., daughters Lori A. and Joan, sister Dorothy Smith and two grandchildren.
Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Homelani Memorial Park Mausoleum. Casual attire. In lieu of flowers or monetary offerings, donations suggested to Hospice of Hilo, Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society.
