Great to hear that Sandy Dubrett is finishing her Pharmacy Technician Program at Hawaii Medical College. She will graduate in a few months. Originally an Army Guardmember, she transferred to the Hawaii Air National Guard and served in the 154th Mission Support Flight.

Congratulations and Happy Retirement to Gordon Kim.  His retirement ceremony was on the fantail of the U.S.S. Missouri a few weeks ago.  Gordon came out of the Air Force and served several years with the 201st Combat Communications Group before his commissioning. His career was filled with achievements and he retired as a lieutenant colonel. His wife, Gina, another former 201 CCG member, continues her tour at the National Guard Bureau.  She projects she will retire sometime next year.

Joseph Kim, the former Deputy Adjutant General has a new job. He recently completed two years as the Deputy Director of the State Department of Taxation. Concurrent with his military retirement in July, Joe started at BEI Hawaii as the Senior Vice President of Operations & Distribution. Founded in 1890, BEI Hawaii is Hawaii’s leading distributor of agricultural and industrial chemicals, fertilizer and specialty products.
