Check Six – 1986: A Special American Flag

In the United States, Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened on June 14, 1777, by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.

At the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center in Louisville, Tennessee, there is a special American flag on display. The flag’s journey into history began in 1971 and ended 16-years later in 1986.
