Check Six: Leslie Yamamoto’s Retirement – 10 years ago

This photographs show Leslie and Joanne Yamamoto and their sons at the DOD Awards and Retirement Luncheon. The luncheon was held on April 17, 2009 at the Hale Koa Hotel. Les was among several retirees honored that afternoon.

Les served full-time in the Hawaii Army National Guard for many years. His wife Joanne, who retired earlier, was the Hawaii National Guard’s Family Readiness Coordinator for many years.
