Hawaii consistently has the worst voting participation rate in our nation. This year, Hawaii votes by mail. The Office of Elections began send out these mail-in ballots on Monday, July 20. There are instructions in the mailing on how to complete your ballot. The Office of Elections must receive your completed ballets by Saturday, August 8, 2020 for your vote to count.

Everyone has a candidate(s) they support, and some volunteer to work on their election campaigns. Several elections ago, the State’s “Get Out to Vote” campaign used the following motto – it says it all.

If you have questions, go to the Office of Elections website at www.hawaii.gov/elections.
