Check Six – 2000s: Royal Guard Members

This photograph shows Royal Guard members Norman Kaleo and Raymond Vegas. Both served for many years as members of this elite organization.

Norman came off active duty and joined the Hawai‘i Air National Guard in the maintenance complex. He worked as a technician for many years before retiring.

Ray was a Traditional Guardmember who served in the 201st Combat Communications Group. In civilian life, he was a fire chief with the Department of Transportation at the then Honolulu International Airport.
