Check Six – F-4 Era: Egress Shop Technicians

This undated photograph shows two members of the Egress Shop. William “Billy” Chang and Garrick Chang are working on the back seat of a McDonnell Douglas F-4C Phantom.

Billy served as a Traditional member, but did an active duty tour for a few years. In civilian life, he worked at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam engineering office.

Garrick, another Traditional member, was a Honolulu Gas Company employee.

Billy commented that they were doing check list training on a Martin Baker seat during a phase inspection.
