The reason? Contract renegotiations.
But in case you don’t really care about that stuff and just want to know exactly how this is going to impact you, here’s the quick and dirty.
As part of a heart-healthy eating plan, your doctor or nutritionist may suggest drinking more tea — and with good reason. Soothing, aromatic tea has certainly earned a spot on the list of approved foods and drinks for its myriad of mind and body benefits. Significantly lower in caffeine than coffee, the caffeine you’ll get in a cup of tea varies depending on the type of tea, the brand, how it was processed, and how long it steeps. A chemical analysis of caffeine content in teas steeped for five minutes found Exotica China White tea has 34 milligrams (mg), Stash Premium Green tea has 39 mg, and Stash Earl Grey Black tea has 51 mg of caffeine in an 8 ounce cup.
When it comes to health benefits, the type of tea you drink matters, as do any medications you might be taking. You also have to consider your individual caffeine sensitivity.
Every year GI Bill rates increase based on the Consumer Price Index as calculated by the government. Based on these calculations, the VA has released the Fiscal Year 2016 GI Bill rates. These rates are effective from October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017.
Take advantage of this increase and see how you can use the GI Bill.

You might have heard about the TRICARE pharmacy shake-up that is coming December 1. Here are the basics: starting on that date, Tricare users will no longer be able to hit up CVS pharmacies, including those located in Target, for their covered prescriptions. But they will be able to visit a pharmacy that’s been off the table since 2011: Walgreens.
The reason? Contract renegotiations.
But in case you don’t really care about that stuff and just want to know exactly how this is going to impact you, here’s the quick and dirty.

Ahh… retirement. We daydream about it and know that we’re looking forward to finally reading that pile of books or finally taking that trip to Europe. But there’s a lot that most of us don’t realize about retirement, some of which would be rather useful.
Here are seven facts about retirement that you may want to know.
The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has teamed up with national retail pharmacy Walgreens to provide free flu vaccinations for enrolled Veterans. All Veterans who are currently enrolled in VA care may walk into any of the over 8,000 Walgreens nationally (and the Duane Reade pharmacies in the New York metropolitan area) to receive a vaccination at no cost. After presenting a Veterans Identification Card and a photo ID, a Walgreens pharmacist administers the vaccine and transmits that information securely to VA where it becomes part of the patient’s electronic medical record.
To learn more about the partnership, call 1-877-771-8537 or visit the VA website at www.ehealth.va.gov/Immunization.asp.
To locate a Walgreens store near you, call 800-WALGREENs (800-925-4733) or visit the Walgreens website at Walgreens.com/findastore.
For more information on flu and flu vaccine, visit the VA Influenza webpage at www.publichealth.va.gov/flu or the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website at www.cdc.gov/flu.
Research like this recent study from the Wharton School’s Pension Research Council shows that the more financially savvy you are, the more likely you are to save diligently and invest sensibly for retirement. But contrary to the impression you might get from some financial literacy tests, you don’t have to be a financial whiz kid or have the acumen of a Warren Buffett to make smart money decisions.
In fact, if you follow these four key tenets of retirement-planning success—or what I like to call the “Core Four”—you’ll have pretty much all the financial knowledge you need to significantly improve your odds of achieving a happy and secure post-career life.
Athlete was born on March 2, 1943. His tragic death left us a legacy we can learn from. He was a tremendous college football athlete at Texas Western College, now known as The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). He still holds many team records, including the most all-purpose yards in a single game (401), and the most receptions in a single game (17). In 2006, he was inducted into the UTEP Hall of Fame.
The Philadelphia Eagles drafted him into the NFL in 1967. After three seasons, he was traded to the Detroit Lions. But on October 24, 1971, he was jogging back to the huddle after a routine pass route, in which he was not targeted, when he suddenly collapsed on the field. Three plays earlier, he’d made a clutch 32-yard reception to sustain a Lions’ drive with just minutes left in the game. The Bears’ famed linebacker, Dick Butkus, was first to reach Hughes on the field and urgently alerted the Lions’ bench. Despite attempts at cardiopulmonary resuscitation, he died on the field. The game was finished in complete silence.

MAJOR change in TRICARE pharmacy benefits
Walgreens will soon rejoin TRICARE’s pharmacy network for users nationwide, officials announced Friday, while CVS pharmacies will leave.
That means TRICARE users will now be able to fill their prescriptions off-base at Walgreens pharmacies without paying out-of-network rates, and CVS users will need to find a new pharmacy or pay unsubsidized rates for their medications.
The change takes effect December 1, officials said. It will impact all beneficiaries, including TRICARE for Life users and military retirees. The network will add about the 8,000 Walgreens stores and lose more than 9,600 CVS pharmacies.

Attackers used an army of hijacked security cameras and video recorders to launch several massive internet attacks last week, prompting fresh concern about the vulnerability of millions of “smart” devices in homes and businesses connected to the internet.
The assaults raised eyebrows among security experts both for their size and for the machines that made them happen. The attackers used as many as one million Chinese-made security cameras, digital video recorders and other infected devices to generate webpage requests and data that knocked their targets offline, security experts said. It is unclear whether the attackers had access to video feeds from the devices.
