Kaua‘i Veterans Council Events
The Kaua‘i Veterans Council will honor the Hawai‘i National Guard – Army and Air – during the Kaua‘i Veterans Day activities in November. Noberto Garcia, is the Commander of the Kaua‘i Veterans Council. The council is made-up of the various veterans organizations on island – including the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Purple Heart, 100th/442nd, Vietnam War Veterans, Disabled American Veterans, Korean War Veterans, POWs/MIAs, and USMC.
On Saturday, November 2, 2013, there will be the Annual Veterans Parade in Kapa‘a starting at 10:00 a.m. In the evening, there will be a Celebration Party in in Līhu‘e at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center.
Monday, November 11, 2013, the Annual Veterans Day Memorial Service at the Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery in Hanapēpē. There will be a mid-morning start.
