Wreaths Across America fundraiser

September 19, 2014

Carswell Ross, a retiree Hawai‘i Air National Guard Chief Master Sergeant, continues to serve as a member of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP).  He sent this information about the Wreaths Across America and the fundraiser the CAP is conducting.

Greetings Fellow Veterans and Family members of Veterans:

The 66th Composite Squadron Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam has an awesome opportunity to participate in a fundraiser that also gives back to our community.

We are looking for sponsors for wreaths to be placed at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, better known as Punchbowl on December 13th. Sponsorships will be taken until the Monday after Thanksgiving (which is December 1, 2014).

For every wreath sponsored, the squadron receives $5. Please share this information with your friends and individuals who have a family resting at Punchbowl. There are proximately 34,000 graves at there and it would be awesome to get them all covered!

A reminder, wreaths can be sent to other locations. Please go the website and learn more about the Wreaths Across America project.

Caz Ross, Lt Col CAP and CMSgt. USAF (Ret.)
