Charles Shigemi Kakigi, 80, of Hilo, a Federal Aviation Administration flight service station manager and a veteran of the Air Force and Air National Guard, passed away on May 8, 2015. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Doris Y., sons Wesley and Wendell, stepdaughter Jayne K. Takahama, sisters Lois Sakata and Frances Toyama and two grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
