Hawaii Air National Guard retirees remember references to Fort Kamehameha, an area near the 154th Wing complex.
The United States Army owned the area up to several years ago. The Army traded the Fort Kamehameha for Wheeler Air Force Base.
But there is much more to the Fort Kamehameha story.
