Check Six – 2010s: 22nd Avenue Facilities
This undated photograph shows the Hawaii Army National Guard facilities on 22nd Avenue. The lack to military vehicles in the then-29th Infantry Brigade facility indicates this was after the brigade’s move to Kalaeloa. The Department of Education now occupies the facility. The armory remains a HIARNG facility but in the photograph, the Honolulu Police Department substaion has yet to be built.
