Check Six – 2005: Two Great NCOs
This photograph show Elmer Looney and Lawrence Iwanaga at a promotion celebration. Nolan Kanekuni celebrated his promotion to chief master sergeant at an after drill party.
Elmer was a technician in the 201st Combat Communications Group for his entire career until his retirement. He continued his electronic career at a local cyber company until his second retirement.
Larry was a Traditional Guardmember who started in the 154th Wing. He retired as a Safety Technician in the Wing safety office.
